The fourth annual Harding Symposium's theme is Scandals and the Presidency. Join us for an outdoor wine and dessert reception Friday night, featuring a Ulysses S. Grant re-enactor reflecting on his Civil War experience and White House administrations. On Saturday, former White House counsel John Dean and historian James Robenalt team up for two powerful sessions about scandals and the presidency through U.S. history, and one honing in on the Nixon years. Author and Professor David Stratton dissects the Teapot Dome Scandal, which marred the Harding legacy. The symposium wraps up Saturday night with a gala dinner and keynote speaker Dean examining the recently released Nixon tapes.
