Animals That Go Bump in the Night
Explore the world of night creatures such as moths, bats, owls, rabbits and opossums. Visitors can explore the characteristics and structure of life, adaptability and the diversity and interdependence of life. Take the opportunity to see preserved nocturnal animals and touch selected animals parts in this hands-on program.
 
Saturdays at 1 p.m.
Animal Symbolism
Animals are found in many artifacts left behind by ancient Ohioans. Join in a discussion on what these animals might tell us about life in ancient Ohio.
 
Saturdays at 2 p.m. 
Staff picks!
Join museum staff as they highlight objects from our collection. Each staff pick will provide information about the object, its history and how it fits into our exhibits.

Saturdays at 3 p.m.  
Match the Scrat to the Animal
Want to find out what animals may be making a mess in your backyard? Learn about how to track and identify animals using scrat.
 
Sundays at Noon

Grassland Animals
Some animals common in Ohio now – such as coyotes and cardinals – were rare in the pioneer days. Understand some of the ways that the changing landscape has led to an increased population for some animals.

Aquatic Animals of Ohio
Discover the creatures that make Ohio rivers some of the most biologically diverse in the Midwest.
