Enjoy an afternoon of fun inspired by the Westerns of Ohio author Zane Grey. Enjoy musical entertainment and sample food cooked in dutch ovens over open fires. Participate in the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Passport to Fishing program, try your hand at lassoing and ground roping, make a bracelet with help from local Girl Scouts and see members of the Boy Scouts' Order of the Arrow demonstrate traditional Native American-style dancing. At 1 p.m., see base ball played by 1860s rules as the Ohio Village Muffins take on a team from the Zane Grey Museum; at 2:30 p.m., the Ohio Village Muffins play the Muskingum County Sheriff's Department. Food available on-site.
