See an exhibit on the Cleveland-area work of architect Don Hisaka, who was awarded the 1970 Cleveland Arts Prize in Architecture.

Born in California, he earned degrees in architecture at the University of California at Berkeley and Harvard University. Hisaka came to Cleveland in 1960 to be director of design for Dalton-Dalton, established his own firm a year later, and through the years designed area buildings ranging from residences to educational structures and commercial spaces.
