Hanby Holiday Open House

Hanby House, Westerville

Tour the restored home of the Hanby family, who lived in Westerville from 1853 to 1880, and enjoy holiday decorations, music and refreshments. Bishop Hanby was a founder of Otterbein University. His son, Benjamin, wrote the popular Christmas song Up on the Housetop in 1864. Hear continuous musical entertainment in the parlor, provided by a variety of musicians, from hand bells to violins and see a new video produced this year that shares the Hanby story.
